＜St. David's Day Tea Party with Welsh pastries＞

Date and time: Saturday 1 March, 1pm to 5pm

Venue: Osaka Prefectural Centre for Gender Equality and Youth (Dawn Centre)

Fee: Members 1,300 yen    Non-members:1,600 yen

Capacity 16 (first-come-first-served)

 

March the first is St. David's Day, the day of our Patron Saint of Wales!!

This year it falls on a Saturday, so we decided to celebrate the day by baking Welsh cakes and other Welsh treats, and having a tea party!

Our pastry chef is Mie Neda, who runs a special cooking class for welcoming guests called 'Cooking Salon Recipes'.

If you are not so keen on baking pastries, that's fine.  You can attend only the tea party part of the event.

(The participation fee is the same though).

 

If you would like to attend, please register by emailing to us  friendofwales@gmail.com

by 10pm on Sunday 23rd February, with the full names of those attending and whether or not

you would like to join the baking, and change the subject of your email to 'St David's Day Tea Party'.

気兼ねなくワイワイできるホームパーティー形式にしました。

お料理とソフトドリンクは、お出しします。

アルコールは、ご自分がお飲みになりたいものをお持ちください。

英国のクリスマスには欠かせないミンスパイもホームメイドでご用意しました。

クイズもありますよ～。賞品付き！　お子様も大歓迎です。

This will not be a conventional introduction you would find in a travel guide.
We ask what Japanese people who are interested in Wales would like to know in advance, 

and using the answers as topics, Welsh experts discuss and provide information.

Althogh this eventu is held in Japanese, and is targeted to Japanese people, 

if you understand spoken Japanese you are very much welcome to join in.
